Every FunkArt drop begins as a hand-drawn illustration. For the Rebel 01 graphic, our chief illustrator Zakir Khan wanted to fuse cyberpunk retro-futurism with high-density screen printing overlaps. Here is how we turned a pencil sketch into our best-selling drop.
Drawing the Future
We started with raw line-art concepts. The design features a futuristic cyborg portrait overlaid with kanji glyphs and abstract warning tags. To make the print feel tactile and three-dimensional, we used a high-density puff overlay screen printing technique. This raises the text and details slightly off the fabric surface, giving you a texture you can actually feel.
